Summer Camp Programs
Each summer we offer a variety of summer camps for children age 2-5.9 years old here at our school and for Grade K-4 out around the forest and in our Museum and City Explorers programs. We invite families from all over the city to join us for the summer. You do not need to be enrolled in our preschool program to attend our summer camps. If your child is 2 and starting a drop off program for the first time we require that you enroll in a 3 week session as they will only be attending for 2 or 3 days/week. This allows children to acclimate to the drop off experience.
We are implementing a new camp system this year through a third party, TADS. You can sign up at the links below. Please note that one selection is missing from the system. It is our July 22nd 5 day:Cooking with Nature camp from 845am-115pm. It will be added on Monday, January 28th.
We run nature camps for children age 4-5.9 and K-4th grade from 9-3pm in the Presidio forest. These camps follow the mission of our Natural Classroom program and camps meet Monday-Friday. This year, 2019, these camps are offered the weeks of June 17th-21st and June 24th-28th and August 12th-16th. While out in the forest children will engage in a variety of fun nature connection experiences. We’ll explore everything from tracking, bird language, journaling, playing games, building forts, wandering, playing and more!
We also have a new offering for children age 5-Grade 4 called Museum Explorers and City and Nature Explorers. These camps are from 9am-3pm. The children are dropped off at Stretch and navigate the city via public transportation investigating the rich museum opportunities in our city or the natural and cultural resources around the city. The children end their day at Stretch where they are picked upat 3pm.

I love the fact that our daughter can connect
with nature and learn so much outside the typical
classroom with her peers and teachers.
